If you wake up every Sunday with a knot in your stomach thinking about Monday — this post is for you.

When the Light Fades at Work

It starts quietly. A sigh before opening your laptop.A pause before stepping into the office. Then one day you realize — your joy is gone.

Depression doesn’t crash in like a storm. It seeps in, like a teabag slowly coloring the water. You still show up. You still function. But everything feels... faded.

And maybe you don’t even recognize it as depression. Because you’re not lying in bed all day. You’re performing, producing, pretending. A living ghost in professional clothes.

Then Sunday arrives, and that familiar voice whispers: “Please… not tomorrow.”

If this feels familiar, I want to tell you something simple and true: you are not meant to live this way.

Don’t quit everything overnight — but don’t let yourself die slowly either. Your body, your mind, and your soul are trying to tell you something. Listen.

There is another way to live. You can earn money and keep your light. You can find meaning without abandoning responsibility. But it starts by admitting: “I don’t want this anymore.”
